Privacy & Cookie Policy

At Channel Help, accessible from @CHelpBot on Telegram and its support bot (@CHelpSupportBot), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our users.
This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Channel Help.

If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us through @CHelpSupportBot or our email.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for users who come into contact to our Telegram Bots with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Channel Help or that Telegram shares with Group Help related to them. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than these Telegram Bots.

Cookie policy

We use cookies only to maintain access with your Telegram account to the pay.chelpbot.me website. Since they are technical cookies, no consent is required.
No third party cookies are used.

Lawful bases

We do not ask for your prior consent in relation to the data that is saved as the following information is essential to be able to provide the services to the channels that use our Bot.

The lawful bases we rely on for processing your information are:

  • We pursue the legitimate interest of channels and their channel managers, who use our services for 360-degree management of the same.

This doesn't affect your rights, which are explained in detail later in this document.

Detailed information on the data we collect and save

To provide our services we need to collect some information which are detailed here.
For each type of data collected it is specified how we collect them, why we collect them, who has access to them, how long we keep them and eventually if it's not possible to request their cancellation (only for data absolutely necessary for the public service offered by the bot).

  1. We save your account informations like: Telegram ID, name and username.

    • These are sent us by Telegram API when you press a button in a channel managed by our bot or start privately one of our bots.
    • These are saved as long as your account exists on Telegram (and up to 20 years after its eventual cancellation).
    • These are saved to make the bot to work properly.
    • All Telegram users can retrive this informations (through the "Users" menu) having your Telegram ID or your username. This information is publicly visible in your Telegram profile.
  2. We save your language and your timezone.

    • These can be set and changed by yourself through "Languages" and "Time zone" menu.
    • These are saved as long as your account exists on Telegram (and up to 20 years after its eventual cancellation).
    • These are saved to make the bot to work properly.
  3. We save in which channels you are owner or administrator and what permissions you've exactly there.

    • These are obtained through Telegram API if you are the owner of the channel or if you are promoted as channel administrator.
    • These are saved as long as you are administrator/owner in the channel.
    • These are saved to give you the possibility to use the bot for that channel.
    • You cannot request the deletion of this data as it is necessary to offer our service. If you want to delete this data, leave the channels in which you are administrator/owner and our bot is present.
  4. We save in which channels you are virtual administrator and what permissions you've exactly there

    • These are saved when a channel manager change your roles within the channel.
    • These are saved as long as you've the role in the channel and your account exists on Telegram (and up to 20 years after its eventual cancellation).
    • These are saved to allow you to take advantage of the permissions provided to the roles you have within the channel.
    • These can be retrieved by the channel manages, but only for your information about that channel itself.
  5. We save your saved posts and your posts created to be sent in channels.
    Information about posts: settings (notifications, link preview, formatting, protected content, pinned), content (text, caption, media, buttons, reactions), sent date, sending schedule date, deletion schedule date, channel and resend token.

    • These are saved when you're creating and when you're editing the post. The resend token is generated by the bot itself.
    • These are saved as long as you delete the post (or up to 7 days if you create a post which is neither saved nor sent to a channel) and your account exists on Telegram (and up to 20 years after its eventual cancellation).
    • These are saved to make the sending, editing and deleting system work properly.
    • Posts sent in a channel can be retrieved and edited by post creator and all channel administrators who have permissions to edit other user messages.
    • A post can be retrieved by any user who has the post token.
  6. We save your recurring posts.
    Information about posts: settings (active or not, notifications, link preview, formatting, protected content, pinned), content (text, caption, media, buttons, reactions), start time, start date, end date, time slot, week days, month days, channel, creation date and if you want to delete the previous post.

    • These are saved when you're creating and when you're editing the recurring post.
    • These are saved as long as you delete the post (or up to 7 days if you create a post which is neither saved) and your account exists on Telegram (and up to 20 years after its eventual cancellation).
    • These are saved to make the sending, editing and deleting system work properly.
    • Recurring posts saved in a channel can be retrieved and edited by post creator and all channel administrators who have permissions to edit other user messages.
  7. We save your posts created through Multipost menu.
    Information about posts: content (text, caption, media, buttons, reactions) and channel.

    • These are saved when you're creating the posts.
    • These are saved as long as you send/schedule the posts or until you start again the Multipost creation process, and your account exists on Telegram (and up to 20 years after its eventual cancellation).
    • These are saved to make the Multipost system work properly.
  8. We save reactions you've pressed and in which post you pressed them.

    • These are sent us by Telegram API when you click the button of the reaction.
    • These are saved as long as you remove it (pressing again the button) or as long as your account exists on Telegram (and up to 20 years after its eventual cancellation).
    • These are saved to make bot reactions to work properly.
    • You cannot request the deletion of this data as it is necessary to offer our service.
  9. We save your favourite settings sets and their settings.

    • These can be set and changed by yourself through "Settings" -> "Favourite settings sets" menu.
    • These are saved as long as your account exists on Telegram (and up to 20 years after its eventual cancellation).
    • These are saved to make the bot to work properly.
  10. We save your default reactions and their settings.

    • These can be set and changed by yourself through "Settings" -> "Default reactions" menu.
    • These are saved as long as your account exists on Telegram (and up to 20 years after its eventual cancellation).
    • These are saved to make the bot to work properly.
  11. We save your favourite buttons sets.

    • These can be set and changed by yourself through "Settings" -> "Favourite buttons sets" menu.
    • These are saved as long as your account exists on Telegram (and up to 20 years after its eventual cancellation).
    • These are saved to make the bot to work properly.
  12. We save your favourite channels sets.

    • These can be set and changed by yourself through "Settings" -> "Favourite channels sets" menu.
    • These are saved as long as your account exists on Telegram (and up to 20 years after its eventual cancellation).
    • These are saved to make the bot to work properly.
  13. We save if you enabled "attached link" option.

    • These can be set and changed by yourself through "Settings" -> "Enable attached link" menu.
    • These are saved as long as your account exists on Telegram (and up to 20 years after its eventual cancellation).
    • These are saved to make the bot to work properly.
  14. We save your signatures set for your channels.

    • These can be set and changed by yourself through "Settings" -> "Signature" menu.
    • These are saved as long as your account exists on Telegram (and up to 20 years after its eventual cancellation).
    • These are saved to make the bot to work properly.
  15. We save your latest Multipost settings for each channel.
    Information: settings (notifications, link preview, formatting, protected content, signature), content (buttons, reactions), sending schedule, hours for deletion schedule.

    • These can be set and changed by yourself through "Multipost" menu.
    • These are saved as long as your account exists on Telegram (and up to 20 years after its eventual cancellation).
    • These are saved to make the bot to work properly.
  16. We save your Auto-complete settings for each channel.
    Information: settings (active or not, link preview) and content (signature, buttons, reactions, attached file, separator sticker).

    • These can be set and changed by yourself through "Auto-complete" menu.
    • These are saved as long as your account exists on Telegram (and up to 20 years after its eventual cancellation).
    • These are saved to make the bot to work properly.
  17. We save your custom bots to be used for Welcome function.
    Information about bots: id, username and token.

    • These can be set and changed by yourself through "Welcome" -> "Custom bot" menu.
    • These are saved as long as your account exists on Telegram (and up to 20 years after its eventual cancellation).
    • These are saved to make the bot to work properly.
  18. We save in which channels you activated the free trial.

    • These are saved as long as the free trial remains active.
    • These are saved to make the bot to work properly.
  19. We save in which channels you bought the Plus or Premium tier.

    • These can be managed by yourself through "Subscription" menu.
    • These are saved as long as the subscription remains active.
    • These are saved to make the bot to work properly.
    • You cannot request the deletion of this data as it is necessary to offer our service. If you want to delete this data, remove yourself the subscription from the channels.
  20. We save the date and content of any messages you may send us in our Support bot and eventually if you are banned by using our Support.

    • These are saved as long as your account exists on Telegram (and up to 20 years after its eventual cancellation).
    • These are saved to allow us to help you in the best possible way and to improve the quality of our support service.

The data is stored in our systems, which run on servers located exclusively in European Union countries. Your information may be accessible, in addition to the users already specified point by point, also to our Bot Staff, to provide the service in the best possible way and for the verification of abuse of the service.

GDPR Data Protection Rights

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

  • The right to access
    • You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
    • You can request a full copy of the information or just the parts you are interested in.
    • You can request a copy of data for free once every 30 days, otherwise we may apply small fees.
  • The right to erasure
    • You have the right to request that we erase your personal data.
    • You can request to erase all the information or just the parts you are interested in.
    • Some information, as specified above on a case-by-case basis, is to be considered fundamental for the public service offered by the bot * and therefore its cancellation cannot be requested.
    • Some information can only be deleted under certain conditions, always as described above on a case-by-case basis.
    • You can request the deletion of data for free once every 30 days, otherwise we may apply small fees.
  • The right to lodge a complaint

If you make a request, we have 30 days to respond to you. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please write us in one of the following way:

Children's Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online and specially Telegram activity.
Group Help does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child information is on our Telegram Bots, we encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
